Lemon refresher
"There's nothing as refreshing as a cold glass of my very own Lemon Refresher on a long summer's day,"
Cornelius himself declared. He was particularly partial to a few glasses during an afternoon's croquet.
And why not? It's a traditional still lemonade made with freshly pressed lemon juice but using that special
James White ingredient of freshly pressed apple juice rather than sugar to sweeten it.
Vintage Still Ginger Beer
"Fresh root ginger is astonishingly juicy," mulled Cornelius. By using his legendary blending skills and his secret splash of apple to sweeten it, it's the perfect drink for hot days.
A vintage still Ginger Beer made with root ginger and sweetened with lemon and pressed apple juice but with no added sugar, it gives a fresh and tangy flavour perfect for the spring and summer.
Finest Spiced Ginger
Back in 1860, cook told young Cornelius of the delicious ginger drink her mother used to make. "Ginger is famed as an aphrodisiac and her drink certainly warmed the cockles of my heart." Intrigued by this claim, Cornelius decided to experiment on his own, and after many years of tinkering with the recipe finally pronounced himself satisfied. "You can tell it is genuine by the tingle in your throat," he declared happily.
Great Uncle Cornelius' Finest Spiced Ginger is a delicious smooth and rich non-alcoholic aperitif that can be served well chilled on its own as a liqueur to be sipped and savoured or as a Ginger Mac mixed in equal proportions with whisky served on the rocks or as a long refreshing Ginger Beer if diluted with lemonade and crushed ice.
"While
my Spiced Ginger is wonderful by itself, what can I add to it for a bit of variation?" Cornelius
asked himself. After several nights of mixing and matching, he came up with some intriguing suggestions.
"Just marvellous," he smiled. Click on this link
