Ritebites website screenshot

Ritebits

Ritebites offers healthy food for sporting events and particularly for runners. We believe that runners and supporters should have the choice of a better quality of food but without paying a premium price, so Ritebites has been set up to help the health-conscious sports people and their families and friends who attend hundreds of events throughout the year and often find that, after doing their best, they are rewarded by having to either break their regime of eating healthily or not eat at all. We also understand that, at these events there are people who have particular dietary needs, and that they are also left out in the cold when it comes to eating out. Whilst we understand that we cannot cater for all the many different types of ailments, we have at least tried to source products that contain as little of the bad stuff as possible and are high in anti-oxidants wherever possible. This should ensure that there is something for everyone.

Tullens Fruit Farm website screenshot

Tullens Fruit Farm

Located in Pulborough, West Sussex, Tullens Fruit Farm was founded in the 1950s as one of the Country's first pick-your-own farms. Sadly, with changed buying habits, pick-your-own went out of fashion and the farm went into decline. However since buying the farm in 2002, its new owners have planted numerous old varieties of apple tree with a view to reintroducing these to the buying public. In the next year or two old favourites such as Blenheim Orange and Laxtons Superb will be available once more in addition to traditional apple varieties which are currently grown such as Cox Orange Pippin, Worcester Pearmain and Bramley. Dorset Down rare breed prize winning sheep are also raised on the farm, and box sales can be arranged through our farm shop.
