Aldeburgh Festival

The 2008 Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival will take place along the coast of East Suffolk from 19th - 28th September. From Friday 19th September, there will be an exciting range of activities and events taking place throughout the region from Southwold to Woodbridge culminating in a two day extravaganza at Snape Maltings on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September. At this exciting two day event, over 70 local producers will offer tastings and showcase their products, there will be cookery demonstrations, a children's corner, workshops, discussion forums, boat trips and RSPB-guided walks.

Wimpole Hall

Wimpole Hall is a National Trust House that we are proud to have helped by raising £40,000 towards the cost of restoring theirÊWalled Garden. Situated eight miles south west of Cambridge, the hall itself was first built in 1643, but has been much altered by subsequent owners to become the largest country house in Cambridgeshire. Tullens Fruit Farm

Located in Pulborough, West Sussex, Tullens Fruit Farm was founded in the 1950s as one of the Country's first pick-your-own farms. Sadly, with changed buying habits, pick-your-own went out of fashion and the farm went into decline. However since buying the farm in 2002, its new owners have planted numerous old varieties of apple tree with a view to reintroducing these to the buying public. In the next year or two old favourites such as Blenheim Orange and Laxtons Superb will be available once more in addition to traditional apple varieties which are currently grown such as Cox Orange Pippin, Worcester Pearmain and Bramley.
